The end of ski season can be a drag. Gone are the masses of smiling people clad in snow gear all partaking in winter's awesomeness. Après ski bars, sadly, either close for the season or are significantly less crowded. Ski towns clear out leaving only local commerce.

A Summer Music Festival that Will Bring You Home (to Okemo)

Spring skiing is well underway and thanks to an epic March that saw record setting snow totals here in the east, many of the Vermont resorts have extended their season until late April and beyond. However, if I am being realistic, the 2017-2018 ski season is winding down and summer is on the horizon. With that comes a transition away from the slopes to warm weather activities that include hiking, biking and, of course, festivals.
