Skiing and Riding is a Family Activity

For all the epic runs, death defying jumps and sick couloirs that you see on video, skiing and snowboarding, at its heart, is a family friendly activity. There is no sport that I can think of more known for bringing families together for a fun day of outdoor activity. My wife and I love spending a day on the mountain with my oldest daughter and then finishing the day off with some hot chocolate and nachos at apres ski. We even created the perfect kids apres ski shirt for our clothing line because what kid doesn't enjoy a good apres ski party? That being said, skiing as a family can get a little pricey, especially a family of five like my own. Thankfully, there are programs out there that families can take advantage to save a few extra dollars while enjoying a day on the slopes.

Ski Utah 5th and 6th Grade Passport

At the very heart of family togetherness and affordability is the Ski Utah 5th and 6th Grade Passport program. The passport is available to all fifth and sixth-grade students, and children can ski or ride all 14 resorts in Utah for only a $35 processing fee. With the passport, fifth graders can enjoy up to three days at Utah's 14 different resorts, while sixth graders can take advantage of one day at each resort. It also entitles families to great discounts on rentals and other mountain activities. You can sign up for yours today at at skiutah.com/passport

Ski Utah Offers Savings For Adults

The savings in Utah aren't just for the kids. Remember, skiing and riding are family activities. The Ski Utah Yeti Pass entitles parents to one ticket to all 14 resorts for the low price of $649. For $46 a lift ticket, I'd say that's a no brainer.
